House music was built on a promise of eternity. We danced to the rhythm of a culture that felt suspended in time. Yet, away from the strobe lights and the smoky booths, time kept moving. This photography project chronicles the community of DJs, producers, promoters, label bosses, and record shop owners who soundtracked a global movement.
